Early Bird Bookkeeping from $888
Still haven't dealt with your 2026 bookkeeping?
Here's your opportunity to get it done without spending your evenings learning accounting software.
I'll set up your Xero and Hubdoc, show you how to submit your paperwork, and take care of the bookkeeping.
You upload. I do the books. Everybody wins.
The earlier you start, the less you pay.
October: from $888
November: from $988
December: from $1,088
Same bookkeeping. Different price. Procrastination has a fee. 😉
What's included?
✓ Initial Xero and Hubdoc setup (normally $350)
✓ Simple instructions for uploading your receipts
✓ Bookkeeping for January–September 2026, using the records you provide
✓ Monthly bookkeeping for October–December 2026 as you submit your documents
✓ Completed 2026 bookkeeping records in early 2027, ready for your tax preparer
How payment works
$500 to get started.
The remaining balance is due when your completed 2026 books are available.
What's the catch?
You have to help me help you.
That means uploading your business receipts, providing complete bank and credit card statements, and answering questions promptly.
No shoeboxes.
No annual paperwork bombs.
No disappearing until tax season.
That's how I can offer such a reduced price.
But only during the typically quiet 4th Quarter.
What happens in 2027?
If you love having your books handled each month, you can continue with Beautifully Balanced Books Inc.
Qualifying Early Bird clients can access a special monthly minimum of $100, with fees calculated at 1% of monthly business expenses above $10,000.
You'll already know the routine, the software will be set up, and we'll simply keep your books current.
No pressure to continue. Just the opportunity to keep a good thing going.
Ready to get 2026 off your desk?
Maybe you've been doing your own bookkeeping.
Maybe you've been meaning to do your own bookkeeping.
Or maybe you've been telling yourself that you'll hire someone once the business gets a little bigger, things settle down, or you finally find a spare weekend.
How's that going? 😉
Here's an idea.
What if you could try having a bookkeeper for the rest of 2026, get the entire year sorted, and then decide whether you want to continue?
No long-term commitment.
No complicated onboarding process.
No lengthy discovery call just to find out whether we might be a good fit.
You complete a short application, I review your business to make sure it qualifies...
and if we're a match, we get started.
I'll set up Xero and Hubdoc and show you how to send me your paperwork, and then I'll take care of the bookkeeping.
You get to experience the system before deciding whether you want to keep it.
And by January, instead of facing another year of unfinished bookkeeping, you'll have your 2026 records ready for your tax preparer.
Absolutely.
You can find all kinds of apps, tutorials and AI tools that promise to make bookkeeping easier.
And some of them are genuinely useful.
But here's the thing about bookkeeping software and AI:
They can only work with the information they receive — and that information still needs to be interpreted correctly.
Let's say you run a small contracting business.
You invoice a customer $2,000.
Your payment processor deposits $1,945 into your bank account after deducting its fees.
If you're simply looking at bank deposits, you might think you've earned $1,945.
But you've actually earned $2,000 and paid $55 in processing fees.
Or maybe you receive an e-transfer from a customer, move money between your own accounts, refund a deposit, or pay for something personal using the business card.
Not every deposit is income.
Not every withdrawal is a business expense.
And not every transaction that looks obvious to a computer is quite so obvious once you know the story behind it.
Software can automate plenty of tasks, but it still needs the right information, sensible rules and someone checking the results.
That's where I come in.
I'm not asking you to become a bookkeeper.
I'm asking you to provide the information so I can be yours.
Call it hybrid bookkeeping.
The technology handles the tedious movement of documents.
Technology allows you to place your paperwork directly on my screen vs delivering a shoebox of chaos.
Technology allows me to direct all your banking transactions ...
... but I am not required to manually type in each and every single line.
Technology allows your files to be scanned and pushed into your accounts ...
... and it will even "file" all your receipts by vendor name.
I am no longer required to build and maintain a set of physical files each year.
My timesheets of five years ago tells a story.
It tells a story of time spent unstapling unfolding and filing paper receipts away.
MORE time spent sorting paperwork out ... than I spent on tasks that required my bookkeeping knowledge.
Imagine paying full fee for time spent unfolding paperwork.
I'm not exaggerating...
I spent MORE time managing physical paper than I did on the actual work.
Technology saves me that time and allows me to focus my time where my skills are.
Technology gives you the ability to reduce the time I spend on your bookkeeping.
Basically just feed the machine.
It's that simple ...
Feed the Machine.
lol yes I'm the machine ... a bookkeeping machine.
A bookkeeping machine that will stall entirely when faced with chasing paperwork.
A machine that thrives on a steady stream of input to work on.
A machine that can efficiently manage your bookkeeping tasks when you line up all of the inputs.
No stalls. Just bookkeeping. An affordable routine.
It's so simple.
Help me Help you.
The technology handles the tedious movement of documents.
You input your documents into the system.
And I handle the actual bookkeeping.
Here's how it works.
Your part:
Take a photo of your receipt with your phone... and repeat until complete.
Or forward an invoice you've received by email.
Provide your bank and credit card statements.
Provide your monthly sales and taxes summaries.
Answer the occasional question when something needs clarification.
That's it.
My part:
I review the documents, direct the transactions, account for the expenses and income, reconcile the records and make sure the bookkeeping tells a sensible financial story.
You'll receive a profit and loss statement for the 3 quarters ending Sept 30th.
^^ This is power .... you'll have a clearer idea of your 2026 income at this point ... NO surprises come tax season.
When the December bookkeeping is complete you'll receive the full 2026 profit and loss statement along with asset details if applicable.
Your tax preparer will LOVE you!
Or maybe you'll do your own income tax return.
Imagine being ready for tax season in February!?!
Bonus - my actual human eyeballs will still have landed on your paperwork.
I'm not just connecting an app to your bank and hoping everything lands in the right place.
And because you're handling the simple task of getting the documents to me, I'm not spending hours collecting, unfolding, sorting, scanning and chasing paperwork.
Less administrative work for me means a lower bookkeeping bill for you.
It's a pretty good arrangement.
Because I'm rewarding efficiency.
It's really that simple.
Traditionally, a bookkeeper might spend a surprising amount of time just getting a client's information into a usable format.
Picking up paperwork.
Sorting receipts.
Scanning documents.
Following up on missing statements.
Sending reminders.
Then sending reminders about the reminders.
All of that takes time.
And when you're paying someone to do it, you're paying for that time whether you realize it or not.
I'd rather spend my time doing your bookkeeping than chasing your bookkeeping.
So I've built my business around a simple idea:
When clients follow a straightforward monthly routine, the work becomes more predictable and efficient.
And I can pass some of those savings along.
That's how qualifying small businesses can access monthly bookkeeping at a fraction of what they might expect to pay for a more hands-on service.
Not because I'm skipping the important work.
Because we're eliminating a lot of the unnecessary work.
Help me Help you.
Everybody saves.
By the time we've completed your 2026 books, you'll have had a chance to experience how the system works.
You'll know how easy it is to upload receipts.
You'll know what information I need each month.
And you'll know what it's like to have someone else taking care of the bookkeeping.
Then you can decide.
Option 1: Continue monthly.
If you've been following the routine and we're a good fit, you'll have the opportunity to continue at my special Early Bird client rate.
For qualifying businesses, the monthly minimum starts at just $100, with fees based on 1% of monthly business expenses above $10,000.
The software is already set up. The routine is already familiar. We simply carry on.
Option 2: Take your completed books and carry on your way.
No hard feelings.
No long-term commitment.
You'll have your 2026 bookkeeping completed and a much better understanding of what it takes to keep your records organized.
The Xero account is yours ... along with your online filing cabinet Hubdoc.
Of course, if you leave everything until next December, we'll be right back where we started.
And annual catch-up work isn't nearly as affordable as keeping things current.
Because one can only benefit from the early bird package once.
Annual paperwork-bomb-droppers are charged at a premium rate that is 3x my regular fee.
Because ... chaos is expensive.
Just saying. 😉
And it's a reasonable one.
You have to participate.
I'm offering a reduced bookkeeping fee, not a personal receipt-chasing service.
To qualify, you'll need to:
Upload your business receipts and invoices monthly.
Provide complete bank and credit card statements monthly.
Keep up with the monthly routine through the end of the year.
Respond when I need clarification.
Be honest about the condition and complexity of your existing records.
You don't need to know accounting.
You don't need to understand debits and credits.
You don't even need to like bookkeeping.
You do need to download an app.
You do need to send some emails and upload some files.
You just need to send me the information so I can do my job.
If your records are unusually complicated, incomplete, or require substantial reconstruction, I'll let you know before we proceed with a separate quote.
No surprises.
